It is in rough shape, to say the least. It really needs to be gutted and start over. But Tom likes to do that kind of stuff. He worked on the last 2 houses he bought, except this one is a HUGE project. At first glance, I thought he was insane. But I got to see inside. It is a great old house. Yes, it is going to take tons of work, but if they get it done, it's going to be amazing. Cleaning out the storage building....
They are first working on the yard. It is all overgrown, and some dead trees. We were there Saturday to help some, but honestly, mostly watch. (lol)
Fred got to use the riding mower, he liked that..... They have 1 acre, LOTS of mowing...
Fred has 'toy envy'..... Tom has some cool Tonka Trucks! haha
This is an old outhouse... I didn't notice it at first since it is almost hidden by vines and shrubs...
Look at this beautiful window on it! So, this is a pecan tree, and this is a pecan! yes, I am realizing how much of a 'city girl' I am....

This is Grace, Tom's daughter. She is 8 yrs. old. She doesn't really talk to us much.... don't really get it, but she did let me take pictures of her doing a cartwheel...
After spending some time with the "Other Nassars" at their house, we went into Texarkana and had dinner. I now know where to go if being 'away from it all' gets to me.... It has all the stores Mt Pleasant doesn't.... good to know!
It was fun hanging out with them. It's nice to be able to reconnect with them.
PS
please pray for us. We are going to make an offer on a house this week. It would be great if all went smoothly and we could close fast....
